PTC IV

All cell membranes within our body contain a phospholipid, known as phosphatidylcholine. As we age, phospholipids within cell membranes become outnumbered in quantity by cholesterol and sphingomyelin. With time, membranes can become dysfunctional, and cells can no longer control what enters and exits. This not only affects the entire body, but especially impacts the vascular system, hepatic system, nervous system, and reproductive system. Dysfunction in these systems is what leads to issues such as impaired mental ability, male erectile dysfunction, and increased risk of blood clots and related events.

Benefits of Phosphatidylcholine

PTC infusion can support mental, sexual, hepatic, and cardiovascular health. Infusing PTC brings balance back to the ratio of phosphatidylcholine, cholesterol, and sphingomyelin within cell membranes — improving cell membrane function (and preventing leakage). Stronger cell membrane function has been found to be associated with reduced levels of total cholesterol, improved levels of HDL cholesterol, reduced triglycerides, and reduced atherogenicity index.

After approximately 20 treatments, patients cite improved mental function, improved erectile function, and improved cholesterol markers. It is theorized that these are related to reductions of plaque build-up in blood vessels, allowing for optimal blood flow of nutrients and oxygen to bodily tissues.

PTC also aids in the production of acetylcholine, a chemical that greatly impacts overall brain function. PTC infusion may also delay the progression of Parkinson’s disease, and may be effective in treating hepatitis B and C. It has also been studied with positive results to  lower cholesterol markers for PTC.
